That buggy turd? There was barely any climbing, the combat was repetitive and a snore and entirely removed any need for stealth at all. Seriously this is assassins creed and except for a few certain parts of the game you can just bullrush in and take on opponents like a one man army. Furthermore fuck the numbers popping up on my screen. Totally breaks historical emmersion which is what i thought these games strived for. I dont feel like im in ancient egypt when +250! pops up upon hitting a guy. Also personally i didnt feel connected to this protagonist in any way shape or form. Black flag was the last assassins creed i enjoyed. and even though it has some of the problems this game has at least the atmosphere was 100% on point. Then you had naval combat to spice things up. And edward kenway may not have been an assassin but fuck me he made a dope pirate lord. And motherfuckin BLACKBEARD. He single handedly brings the game to the top of my favorites. But regarding 2017 i didnt really play too much because i moved away from xbox to pc. But PUBG has been a remarkable game to see evolve. It just blew up and it is insanely fun and rewarding to play. So i guess you gotta give it due credit there. Bu im going to say Resident Evil 7. That game was a fucking masterpiece horror game compared to any other horror game ive played. However if i had bought a switch and played zelda id probably choose that one. 1
