"there was a Jewish migration from Israel through what is now Italy and other parts of southern Europe.[53] The historical record attests to Jewish communities in southern Europe since pre-Christian times.[54] Many Jews were denied full Roman citizenship until Emperor Caracalla granted all free peoples this privilege in 212. Jews were required to pay a poll tax until the reign of Emperor Julian in 363. In the late Roman Empire, Jews were free to form networks of cultural and religious ties and enter into various local occupations." Side: There is none

Bronto, your information is false (as if that's a surprise). The Ashkenazis were Europeans who converted to Judaism. They did not migrate from Israel and they are not Semites. Please see:- The majority of Ashkenazi Jews are descended from prehistoric European women, according to study published today (October 8) in Nature Communications. While the Jewish religion began in the Near East, and the Ashkenazi Jews were believed to have origins in the early indigenous tribes of this region, new evidence from mitochondrial DNA, which is passed on exclusively from mother to child, suggests that female ancestors of most modern Ashkenazi Jews converted to Judaism in the north Mediterranean around 2,000 years ago and later in west and central Europe. They are basically a bunch of white people who asociate themselves with the religion of an extinct middle eastern tribe. Hello science denier: DNA measures ethnicity.. It does NOT measure who you associate with. It just doesn't.. To say it does, is STUPID, STUPID, and even STUPIDER than that... excon Side: Ashkenazi jews aren't "chosen"

The main point in being a jew is that you became part of judaism and it doesn't matter if you are a hebrew or not. tough some people are jew but not a hebrew the point there is they believe what the hebrew believes. Being part of Judaism or being a jew don't base only on what that person believes, it can also base on the belief of /her ancestor who have became a Jew so if you converted into Judaism or you are a Jew by blood that means all of your children will be a Jew. For more information. Jew or Judaism means 'kingdom of Judah', A Jew can be by birth or conversion and Jew by choice or by blood. Someone can be a Christian Jew, an Islamic Jew, a Buddhist Jew etc.
Also, the jew race existence was based on the verses in the Torah For more information, check these site Side: Ashkenazi jews aren't "chosen"
