What's your definition of being in love/true love?

I don't mean the dictionary definition. I mean YOUR personal definition. What do you think love is?

(In this case I mean romantic love...)

Also you can answer questions like: Do you belive that love exists? Do you think it's worth it? Basically any thoughts you have :)

NOTE: I'm sorry, I posted a debate similar to this yesterday, but what you all said about it really got me thinking...

Love is a particular emotion of compassion, and likeness of another, so is friendship and family, all of these are unique feelings though. However they are all unique to each other, and I cannot successfully describe the emotion of romantic love inside my consciousness, or I cannot have you climb in my consciousness and feel this emotion. The best way I can define it certain activity within the brain. Though I don't think this is the definition of romantic love, as romantic love is a description of what we consciously feel which we cannot describe to each other. The activity within the brain that strongly correlates with this emotion, shows that we have it, and the fact that it has nearly the same effect on a strong majority of us shows that from person to person this emotion is pretty similiar.

A mental disorder. .

Love, by my definition, is the bond shared by two or more beings that shows signs of absolute devotion and care for one another and usually shows signs of a bond with a mass amount of resilience.
