What would your ideal political party look like?
Imagine that the mainstream parties didn't exist in your nation. What kind of political party would you like to replace them? What values would they hold and what policies would they implement?
It would combine liberal, socialist, environmental, and leftist ideals. The main goals would be to slow down global warming, rely more on renewable energy sources, reform the entire educational system, bring universal healthcare, and implement a universal wage. We would also try to abolish the class system, which is the biggest form of inequality in modern society.
I think I would be more supportive of that if you added a bit of Republican ideology in there. They do have some very good points from time to time, I do think people should have more personal responsibility to a point. I would support a party that doesn't lend itself to extremism as well.
It's just that most ideas advocated by the Republican party are quite regressive. I also don't like extremism in anything, but I guess some of my views could be a little on the extreme side.
The Universal Wage is a pretty good idea in my opinion, because jobs are running out, and many jobs will be done by robots in the future, taking away valuable job opportunities for people. It is a bit like a security net for unemployed people, if they can't find any possible jobs. There are some bad things about it, but in the future it would be a very viable option.
The Universal Wage is a pretty good idea in my opinion
Oh good. I was going to pay you $30 an hour, but the universal wage is $8.50, so you lost and I saved $21.50. Now come be a conservative so you can get the full $30. Worry about the robots when they are a serious threat. If you don't, you'll worry about bots, wasting years on worry, and wind up in a robotless occupation.
In about 10 years, the universal wage will be a necessity, but for now I'm fine without it. You are right that the robots aren't taking all our jobs yet, but experimenting with the idea would be good. If you look at countries like Spain, the unemployment level, especially among the youth, is extraordinarily high. While there will always be people who are too lazy to work, many of them just can't get jobs. It would be a great deal of help for them, if they can still sustain themselves during their unemployment period.
I don't consider myself as a communist because it just doesn't work. Good idea, but impossible. And I don't like being grouped with the far-left because they are just as bad as the far-right are. The movement against free speech is run by the far-left. However Americans seem to view socialist and leftist ideologies as radical. The universal wage would be centre-left in the spectrum.
I don't view most of what you're saying as unreasonable but as far as I know, the UBI or universal wage is technically far left, and most of your positions can be called democratic socialism. I understand not wanting to be associated with the far-left and I don't mean to lump you in with the stereotype of the crazy far-leftist, but in the most technical sense you are "far left" on the political spectrum. Universal wage is literally communistic in nature and I don't see how it can be called "centre-left"
You just said he was "radically far left" and now you are pussy footing for no reason. There is no sense in being polite about it when you basically just called him a crazy communist.
I don't consider myself as a communist because it just doesn't work. Good idea, but impossible
But this is a typically Americanised rewriting of the facts. Communism did work for at least 70 years. In fact, the rest of the world had to fight a long series of military and economic conflicts to stop it from engulfing the entire planet. With that in mind, your claims appear to represent the precise opposite of the historical record. Without the communists the Nazis would have won WW2 and America would never have become the modern superpower it is today, so you should be thanking, not disparaging them.
You're a retard Nomenclature, communism was never as powerful as you say except of course for the tyranical versions that you so readily denounce as "no true commie-man" but the second it is convenient for you all communist shit holes become equal.
Also fighting nazis doesn't automatically make you good, if there was another Hitler-like entity in another fascist nation at the same time as the nazis rose to power they would probably be at war with each other, competing for control over europe.
True communism has been shown not to work with our society. There will always be someone with more power than the people. Stalinism is not true communism. He may have done miracles for the allies during WW2, but in the end he was still a tyrant. Greed and avarice exist within humans, which means people will always try to get more and more power. Communism is a great idea. Yet when put to the practice, you always end up with inequality.
Yeah, in reality you would rather see some scruffy cotton pickin' niggers hang wouldn't you, KKK Kunt. I've got a new name for you, Cunta Kinte. (Roots pun)
