The humans ability to conceptualize and assume that conceptualization is true. If you want the most technical answer; humans intricate consciousness- basically, inside the brain.

Well, that depends greatly on how you view morality in the first place. Some may say morality doesn't exist. Some may say subjective morality exists, and it is a mere byproduct of evolution or collective lifestyle of humans. Some people like me see morality come from divine sources and we usually see it as objective.

Morals are formalized rules that groups of humans need in order to live together and cooperate in mutual survival. Don't kill, don't steal, don't harm others. Most humans need to be part of a group to survive. Cooperation within a group places some restrictions on behavior. These restrictions have evolved into what some call moral guidelines.

Morality comes from the human mind of course. Look at all the other things that humans have come up with, is it really hard to believe they could come up with morality too?

Largely from our evolved sense of empathy and the fact we are social creatures by nature. Most of the things we identify as morality are natural pulls towards or away from certain activities. The more local and subjective ones probably came from very specific incidents or myths.

Laws came from Morality and Morality came from religion. Why do you think a group of people got together and wrote the bible ....? Though there were gods before then, a lot of them, the world existed in a feudal state. The wiser of the period had to create a monotheistic religion to justify the creation of laws to stabilise society. We still abide by the 10 commandments written into law because if we had not the past 2000 years would have been in a state of anarchy. Morality, ethics, etc and the laws that enact these social conscience structures all came about from the creation of religion with the intention to develop civilisation into a cohesive "harmonious" structure that had the potential for longevity.

So out of curiosity, are you essentially claiming that India, a place that has been polytheistic for a long time, has always been in anarchy? They have never been polytheistic for a long time, and have had a very stable society without adhering to the 10 Commandments.
