Where are the protests in the streets from moderate Muslims speaking out against ISIS?
I keep hearing how most Muslims are peace loving and hate what ISIS is doing to their Islamic religion. WHERE ARE THEY! Where's their voices? Where are videos of their religions leaders speaking out?
The evidence is clear. Obviously the majority are not outraged at what is going on, and only Democrats keep spewing the same rhetoric.
The sad truth of the matter is probably that Democrats are doing what they always do..... pander to any group to get their votes regardless the harm to America.
There was one in our capitol this week. A simple google search shows dozens upon dozens of similar marches, demonstrations, and countless denunciations. Why ask the question and claim to know the answer if you haven't done the research? And what about the fact that the majority of fighting against ISIS is being done by Muslims, and that the majority of ISIS victims are also Muslims?
What you are doing is legitimately dangerous. You are legitimately helping cause exactly what IS wants to happen, and you are contributing to a mentality that we have seen before in history. As Germany can tell you, it doesn't end well.
What you are doing right now is what makes me so angry. You are like every other Liberal on this site who CONSTANTLY bring up some person in our capital(all propaganda to push the narrative) or google searches of things THAT NEVER HIT THE NEWS!
This would be huge news when Muslims actually speak out in NUMBERS! Not just one person saying something. Where are the Clerics? They should rally people by the thousands to speak out! They are Americans and should be outraged.
Where are they? Don't waste my time with these google searches of people who said something. It should be all over the news if it were happening in numbers.
Yeah maybe you should stop watching Fox for news and move on to something more valid and unbiased, like NPR or the associated press. TV news like that is just a scheme to make money and push a political agenda.

There are peace rallies by Muslims all the time, are you kidding me? "Moderates aren't speaking out" is bullshit. Ask any American Muslim, they're against ISIS, every major Muslim organization in the US has condemned their violence.
Refugees. Where are they coming from? Why are they leaving home? Because ISIS is killing them, that's why! They're running away from the exact same thing you're saying they are! None of the Paris attackers were refugees, and so far many have been productive and contributing members of society.

EVERY NETWORK ON TV WOULD SHOW ANY MASS DEMONSTRATIONS IN THE STREETS FROM mUSLIMS STANDING UP AGAINST TERRORISM. To say the media is not covering their opposition is ABSOLUTELY MINDLESS!

It doesn't work that way. Media bias is incredibly pervasive in society. Did you see the Sun headline on Veteran's Day in the UK? 'Nod in my Name'. They created a front page editorial bashing the leader of Britain's leftist party because apparently he didn't bow enough at a memorial to war veterans (even though he clearly bowed). In fact, after PM Cameron went away with his friends, Corbyn stuck around with the veterans to praise them for their service. But did the news cover that? Of course not. How are they supposed to make money by showing the truth?
Tell me, do you go looking for peace rallies? Do you try to find examples of Muslims protesting against violence and terrorism? Where do you watch the news, anyway? If its FOX News, you're automatically out. They're incredibly biased and we all know it.

Do you really think that the news and the networks are telling you the complete truth and not just half-lies? Is the news this infallible entity that is always right? What people care about is the big stuff. What's the latest from the ISIS front? What stupid/racist/correct thing did Donald Trump say today? How are the latest GOP/Democratic polls? How's the freaking weather?
It's not only knowledge you need, but wisdom. The wisdom to consider from both perspectives, from ALL perspectives. Muslims around the nation, around the world, every Islamic council in America, are fighting radicals. Imams report potentially radicalized men that visit their Mosque. Friends and family of the perpetrators condemn the attacks all the time, and work with the police to solve whatever mysteries are left and prevent it from happening again.
Perspective, perspective, perspective. It's all you need.

Fox news shows the protest from "black lives matter" and they show the protests from Blacks against Cops. They would show any mass protest from Muslims.
Do you have ANY idea how many times I have debted these people I ban. There is absolutely nothing i coud ever say that woud for one micro second get them to admit they could be wrong.

Absolutely! What the poster is doing, in reality, is spreading the conservative rhetoric more than speaking out about the Muslims.
My question would be, "Why is the media not showing this?" I can understand FOX not showing it, or if they do, spinning it in a way that maybe "that Muslim President", Obama, is trying to put on a show to make the conservative "party faithful" think that his people are actually peace loving. They could use THAT to again suggest that this "Christian President" is really a follower of Islam. I think it's a GOOD thing that he learned a lot about the Muslims when he was young. It helps that he understands what will turn MORE of them against us, and what he can do to keep more of them away from ISIL! Now, if Trump, McCain and a few others would stop stirring up hate against them, they might start to drift away from ISIS. It seems they learned little from the Bush admin., that you'll catch more flies with honey than you will with vinegar!
This is a good question and a great debate and your absolutely right were are the so called "peace loving" Muslims. If you want people to know that you don't agree with this act of outrage by radicals tell them. I know i would.
You can see the 10s of 1000s of moderate Muslims ( that's a contradiction in terms if ever there was one), marching in peaceful protest ( another oxymoron) against their Islamic brothers in magnificent technicolor, marvelous cinema-scope and stereophonic sound in the imaginations of the loonie lefties. They and only they seem to know the secret, unreported locations of these mythical demonstrations. They would hope that you would share in the fantasy of their conspiracy theory that the entire news media of the world have connived together to form a secret pact not to report these mass anti I.S.I.S, rallies.

It would be front page news if the Muslim community stood up and went to the streets to speak out. It would be on every news network. I see nothing on the news networks but token people speaking out.
We see every Black protests on the news most days. Are you telling me the Muslim community can not come up with one demonstration to speak out.

I'm Hindu, so I know a bit about Muslims and their beliefs. They are wonderful people usually, but they need to stop being passive. They need to realize that due to buffoons like Trump, they may soon disappear from the USA.
However, there is a good start. But more people need to join in!
It is true some people on the left are much too supportive of Muslims, even when they aren't taking action when they should be. The black community is a perfect example of taking action.
Despite this, many Teaparty conservatives are WAAAAYYYY too aggressive! You can't discriminate based on religion, it says so in the constitution!!! You can't say a religion is too violent to be legitimate if only <5% of that religion even supports any violence. It is a HORRIBLE thing that 5% do support, and the other 95% have to do something, but they can't be punished for their inaction.
Don't let one man's rhetoric(Trump) mke you think Conservatives think like him on this issue. Tea party people are not sayng what he said. He has no clue on the correct way to make a statement. He should have said we should allow no Musim refugee into this nation unless we know 100% he is not a sympathiser.
However, just because they don't do anything doesn't mean they are isis supporters. The Mosques should organize protests. And I believe they will, soon. When, I don't know, but if they don't I will question their beliefs.
They will never come out and say they are ISIS supporters. I don't believe they support ISIS, but i believe it bothers them very little. The Quran speaks to these types of things so I think many Muslims do not feel comfortable speaking out against it.

If today Isis represented your religion and you were in my place what would you do? Well at least we now have progress and I did not have to ban you :) You finally admitted that Muslims are not having mass protests in the streets, but rather speaking out on the internet.
No one is telling you to find the terrorists and put them in jail. That is the job of law enforcement. We are asking for Clerics and Muslims in masses to speak out and embolden all Muslims who might be silent because of fear of reprisal, etc.
People want the silent Muslims to see mass protests on every major network speaking out against Terrorism. This might embolden those who fear admitting they are aganst the terrorists.
I would say the majority of people including myself NEVER hear your voice on the internet. If you truly want to speak to the masses, you must use network TV as well.
