i'm at a tie between the prisoner of azkaban and the deathly hollows.

the prisoner of azkaban had a lot of suspense and you could feel so much emotion and all the darkness like it was happening to you. it was extremely descriptive and very enjoyable.

i felt the same about the deathly hollows, only that feeling times one thousand. it was an amazing way to end the series.

the whole series is brilliant, nonetheless.

There are seven books in the Harry Potter series

1. The Sorcerers stone

2. The Chambers of secrets

3. The Prisoner of Azkaban

4. The Goblet of Fire

5. The Order of the Phoenix

6. The Half blood Prince

7. and The Deathly Hollows

i have only read volumes 1 through 5 and in my opinion the best book is The Prisoner Azkaban because it introduces important characters in the series, such as Sirius Black, Remus Lupin and Peter Pettigrew. Its the second most crucial book in the series, next to the sorcerers stone and after the prisoner of azkaban its the order of the phoenix. Personally i like the book because my two favorite characters, Snape and Lupin, are mentioned allot

I enjoyed them all but I'm voting for Goblet of Fire.

By this book, Rawlings had buckled down her writing and really gotten into her own style. She became even more creative at applying existing mythos to her own unique scenario. She had built depth for each character and continued to elaborate on their peers so that few were two-dimensional. By this point in the series, the reader is chomping at the bit to see what comes next. Moreover, she was able to capture that difficult and uncertain phase of youth where boys are just beginning to establish romantic and sexual connections, yet are still mired in their own selfish ingnorance and innocence--as girls their own age are suddenly and seemingly bizarrely magnetized to older boys. It is this complex social interaction that makes this book seem as true as your own personal experiences, while still whisking you away to be entertained in a fantastical, unlikely story.

I have got and read all the books and say that the goblet of fire is the best because of the tournament with its exciting events that happen with its descriptive and mystery.
