I feel the same on all points. On all points the conservative party feels differently. The Trump Party wants to drill off shore for oil we do not need. That same party wants to open our National Parks to drilling and mining. That same party wants to deregulate, meaning, remove responsibility for safety in the workplace, for health responsibility for drug company's, hospitals and doctors, for air, water and ground pollution. That party wants to (in effect), remove the plaque from the Statue of Liberty, allow freedom of only ONE religion, rewrite the Constitution to follow the Christian Bible only, keep women to second class citizenship, consider the white race "superior" to all others, have ONE party rule (if two, the other should keep their ideas to themselves). I could go on, but, if that's not enough to make up your mind you'd better move to another country, none of your beliefs will be worth a fart, here. Side: Democratic

I think bullying people and their families out of restaurants, screaming at the top of your lungs if anyone disagrees with you, and killing the police is wrong. Al gets all gitty at the idea. Actually, I get all pissed about it. I got just as pissed when the TEA Party did all those things. I think its wrong on both sides. However, different things piss off different people and we're not able to control our idiots any more than you can control yours. 'Thing is, when you have people in high places showing they act no better than people in LOW places, it makes it worse. Maybe if the White House occupant wouldn't act so "middle-school-ish" the rest of the country would grow up and get back to civility! Side: Republican

AlofRI The drilling and mining I neither support nor oppose I am indifferent about those issues. You claim they want to change the constitution to follow the Christian Bible that would be a problem! What policies have they changed or proposed which supports this idea? I have not heard of any governmental changes to women's rights, I have not witnessed anything which indicates that one race is superior to another if you have example I would love to know about these things. As for deregulation I am actually in favor of that I work at a nursing home and there are government regulations which are not there for any other reason than as a means of extortion. When the survey team shows up no matter how well you run your organization they will always be able to find minor violations in the thousands of regulations and then they fine you for each. This is an evil of government not a good thing. Side: Republican
Petroleum Rhode Island has no petroleum reserves and does not produce or refine petroleum, but the Port of Providence is a key petroleum products hub for southern New England. Almost all of the transportation and heating fuel products consumed in Rhode Island, eastern Connecticut, and parts of Massachusetts are supplied via marine shipments through the Port of Providence. The port area has petroleum storage tanks and a petroleum product pipeline that runs from the port to central Massachusetts. More than seven-tenths of the petroleum used in Rhode Island is consumed by the transportation sector, almost entirely as motor gasoline and distillate fuel oil. The use of reformulated motor gasoline blended with ethanol to limit ozone formation is required statewide in Rhode Island. About three-tenths of Rhode Island households use fuel oil as their primary energy source for home heating, making the state, like much of the U.S. Northeast, vulnerable to fuel oil shortages and price spikes in winter. To avert supply disruptions, the U.S. Department of Energy created the Northeast Home Heating Oil Reserve in 2000. The reserve contains 1 million barrels of ultra-low sulfur diesel (ULSD). The heating oil is stored at three terminals, two locations in New England and one in New Jersey. The New England terminals, west and north of Rhode Island in Connecticut and in Massachusetts, together contain 700,000 barrels of ULSD. The Trump Party wants to drill off shore for oil we do not need. You Yanks do not need oil GRANDPAW ? LMMFAO ! You Yanks are eat up with the DUMB ASS ! Side: Republican
Natural gas Natural gas fuels nearly all of Rhode Island’s electricity generation and provides heat for more than half of its households. Rhode Island does not have any natural gas reserves or production. The state's natural gas is supplied entirely by interstate pipelines. Most of the natural gas that arrives in Rhode Island is from producing areas in the U.S. Gulf Coast, the U.S. Mid-Continent, and Canada. Natural gas also comes to Rhode Island from the Marcellus and Utica shales in the Appalachian region. Most natural gas reaches Rhode Island through Connecticut. More than half of the natural gas entering Rhode Island continues on to Massachusetts. More than half of the natural gas consumed in Rhode Island goes to the electric power sector and almost all in-state electricity generation is fueled with natural gas. As increasing amounts of natural gas are used for electricity generation in Rhode Island, and throughout New England, access to reliable natural gas supplies has become a critical energy issue for the region. Pipeline access is limited and new pipeline development has not kept up with demand. Additionally, more than half of the state's households heat with natural gas. Rhode Island does not have any natural gas storage and depends on pipeline storage or natural gas from storage fields in other states to meet peak winter demand. Because of regional pipeline constraints, Rhode Island and other New England states have also received some natural gas from two liquefied natural gas (LNG) ports in Massachusetts. The Trump Party wants to drill off shore for oil we do not need. GRANDPAW do you believe the nonsense you type ? LMMFAO ! You Yanks cannot survive without oil and gas products because your ass would freeze in the dark ! Side: Republican
Coal Although Rhode Island has no coal reserves or mining, Providence had been one of the leading coal import centers in the northeast, receiving one-tenth of the imported coal delivered to eastern customs districts in 2015. However, in 2016, coal imports into Providence decreased as demand for coal for electricity generation in New England fell. By 2017, coal imports into the eastern customs districts had decreased to less than one-sixth of the 2015 level, and there were no reported coal imports received in the Providence Customs District. Rhode Island and Vermont are the only two states in the nation with no coal-fired electricity generation. However, the ISO-NE grid remains dependent on some coal-fired facilities during periods of peak electricity demand. GRANDPAW do you know much about your state's dependency on fossil fuel ? You Yanks are the most uninformed people in America when it comes to your state's dependency on the evil fossil fuel you need ! Side: Republican

GRANDPAW babbles on again carrying the SOCIALIST talking points fed to him by the media he so loves ! GRANDPAW you Leftist in ROAD ISLAND do not need petroleum products ? What a joke that is ! Your IGNORANCE is glaring !!!!!! Side: Republican
In 2017, natural gas fueled 92% of Rhode Island's net electricity generation. You know what needs to happen AL the valve should be turned off to you Yankees and then we will see if you need petroleum products ! You and your party are a ship of fools that believe you can live without natural gas ! Side: Republican
