The Big Bang requires more proof. Apparently, it all started with some dense matter in the center of space. Of course it could never be randomly created, so we must asume that the dense matter has allways been there. Now if the dense matter has allways been there, why has energy suddenly come out of it and caused it to explode. There is nothing there to cause it! Side: Big Bang Created the Universe

New Life begins at Conception I do not consider this view/position to be strictly a belief; it is a fact of reality. It is pretty broad, but I will presume the topic is about specifically human life. As I understand the definition of what the word "faith" to mean is to place "trust and/or confidence in a person or thing"; this is the first definition given. So this being said I would have to take a leap of confidence and trust to "believe" in the Big Bang theory without any sound evidence that I can test for myself and would lead me beyond a reasonable doubt that it is fact. Versus something I have participated in the cause of (I am a father) with a female gender of human beings (my wife, the woman I am mutually committed to), have witnessed the ultrasound as well as the birth of that new life (our son). Hmm, I think I will stick to "New Life begins at Conception" as factual based. Side: Big Bang Created the Universe

Since new life could be anything from a cell to an ant to a polar bear, I guess it would be pretty easy to believe that. If you can believe that a polar bear can be created by conception.... why can't you accept that a human being is created by conception? Side: New Life Begins at Conception

I think you would have to have a lot of faith in the Big Bang Theory and that out of the blue without any cause it sprung the universe into existence because I don't see how you would believe that something without a cause would spring into existence. Side: Big Bang Created the Universe
Not sure how the options are really related. Easy. Some people have a harder time accepting the fact that a new life begins at conception than they do the idea (theory) about how the Universe began. "Which one requires the bigger leap of faith?" Side: New Life Begins at Conception
