Britain is a small group of islands between the North Sea and North Atlantic. America is an entire continent. America has greater diversity of: people, geography, flora and fauna, climate, geology, society. America is thus better. America (if USA is intended) doesn't have a monarch nor does it otherwise enshrine the concept of giving privilege based on accident of birth. USA has a written constitution. USA has the world's most powerful military force. USA has the preponderance of the world's most wealthy corporations. The above arguments relating to continental America stand too. Ergo, USA is better. 388 days ago | Side: America
"Britain is a small group of islands between the North Sea and North Atlantic. America is an entire continent." And yet managed to control the whole world. "America is an entire continent. America has greater diversity of: people, geography, flora and fauna, climate, geology, society." Britain has exhibits of all such examples in museums without actually having to live in the hazardous terrain. "America (if USA is intended) doesn't have a monarch nor does it otherwise enshrine the concept of giving privilege based on accident of birth. " Yet if you are born into a poor family in USA you'll end up going to a worse school and getting a lesser chance of success than a rich person. However, in Britain though we embrace a class system of titles, those who come from deprived areas have a higher chance of getting into university than others because of equality schemes. Also in USA, healthcare depends on how much you're willing to pay for insurance, in Britain healthcare is equal, though you can pay extra to go to private hospitals it stil doesn't mean that the poor people are any worse off. "USA has a written constitution." Which was modelled on the British Magna Carta. "USA has the world's most powerful military force. USA has the preponderance of the world's most wealthy corporations." When Britain was at it's height, it had the same only ten times more powerful. 388 days ago | Side: Britain
