It depends. If I'm in a rush and the elevator is full, then I'll use the stairs. But I have to run up the stairs and try to beat the people on the elevator so when they see me just casually walk past the elevator they're like, "How the fuck did he get up here so fast?". Side: Elevator

Elevtors are machines; they fail, like other machines. Also, while they are fun and cool, they can end up being crowded with fat and/or disgusting people, making you more unhealthy every second you spend on them. SO, I prefer the stairs. Unless I'm in a lot of pain and exhaustion. But nonetheless, I prefer stairs. Healthier, have no chance of stranding you for 40 hours with only your own private parts as company, and are avoided by the gross people. (I.E. I don't hate gross people, but I think they should stop being gross. It's easy to not be gross, unless your a senior citizen) Side: stairs

I'm what is commonly called a senior citizen (I hate that term but it beats old buzzard, old geezer and old fart by a couple of yards) but I prefer to take the stairs. Taking the stairs burns calories, not electricity and can often get you to your destination faster since you don't have to wait on an elevator which might be filled with a bunch of fat lazy old bastards.
