For the better storylines and artwork.

I really like Darker than Black, hence the profile picture. It's the small, meaningful series' I like, Death Note, Utawarerumono, Vampire Knight, Sword Art Online, etcetera. Cartoons are mainly just childish from the ones I remember. They didn't convey a deep storyline... more animals wearing clothes hitting each other, really.

I like anime because the story line of some of the anime's are way better then the American shows they are showing right now. They also have a lot of art into making the anime and it takes skill.

Okay technically, they are the same, it's just that cartoons are American while Anime is Japanese.

But since I don't want to be that technical guy (but I am so I had to say it lol) I have to go with Anime.

Of the animes I've seen they go well beyond the limit when it comes to their point. So better based off the potential to make money, I'll have to go with Anime.

Take for example Dragon Ball Z, that started as Dragonball, a show about a kid who, was in no way an alien, who liked to fight crime and had a tail. The it evolved and in the next series, Dragon Ball Z, he apparently was descendant of some alien race. Think that's crazy? How about the series that sprung from that. Dragonball Gt, a show that includes all the stuff of Drangonball, and Dragonball Z, then adds...wait for it... Robots. Yup, this anime had kung-fu, aliens, magic, and frickin' robots. That's grade A anime.

Of its style and presentation of love circles, themes, and overall production value.

Anime. The art of cartoons is atrocious. I love anime because they are spoken in beautiful Japanese, have better story lines. Plus, horror, comedy, action and romance are much better in anime! You can't get any better than that
