Gymnastics cause it requires strength, flexibility, agility, coordination, and practice. Track is pretty easy to catch up to in a month or two, but gymnasts train for like 2 years in a row, until they can learn a back walkover, a handstand on the beam, when they start using the vault, or a back hip circle on the bar. Track, cause track requires endurance, unlike gymnastics, because gymnastics routines just last for a minute or two, but track races last for that much, but longer ones are even 5-10 minutes, or 10-15 minutes, some even more! Also track needs mental strength, but for gymnastics the only mental thing you need is bravery. In track you can just stop running in the middle of the mile if you want, but that would be mentally weak. Side: Track
In track you need strategies like in a mile you'll sprint the first lap, run the second lap, speed up the third lap, and run for your life in the fourth lap. In gymnastics it's just splits, round-off, back handspring, back tuck, punch front, aerial cartwheel, closed pike stretch, lift to handstand, come down, back walkover, round-off, back handspring, back layout, finish.
