Which one is more effective:Wind or Solar energy?

In colder regions (which tend to get more wind, such as Scandinavia) Wind turbines are far superior to solar panels in efficiency.

In warmer regions, the opposite is true.

There are regions that are rainforests where it's warm but the sun is covered and it's tempting to say 'it gets windy so use wind' but in these regions hydraulic methods from the movement of water would actually be the optimal choice.

It will ultimately depend on where you are. That's the best answer I think anyone can give. In area's where wind is not as obstructed it's going to be better as it's not dependent on a 12 hour cycle as one would the sun. In areas where wind is obstructed, such as towns, cities and some mountain communities solar would probably be more effective.

Well, I will take this argument in where normal people will place the Wind turbines not in deserts but in windy areas and not place solar panels in Antartica but in sunny places.

Well, we are only talking about effiecinet product after we purchase it, so I feel Solar. It powers homes for free. We households can benefit for solar panels, unless you’re this crazy rich guy to have a wind mill in your everyday city life.

Solar energy provides Superman with a consumption to output ration so efficient that he appears to embody some degree of free energy. No wind powered superhero has ever attained such efficiency of output.
