I agree with lizzie, although I don't necessarily agree with welfare our military spending is absolutely ridiculous and with one precise strike 90% of what makes our military strong would be gone. But you also have to realize America is not on a lot of peoples good list Btw you are really cute if that's you in your profile pic... :s Side: Military

Yeah, they have 2,000 M-1 Abrams tanks that are just sitting around, never been used. The Army told Congress that they won't need any more tanks for 3 years, but Congress thinks it's good for business to build new tanks anyway.
Supporting Evidence:
Army: Too Many Tanks (But that won’t stop Congress from buying even more)

Of course we can spare it, but as an opinion we shouldn't. It's not like putting more in is a better option, but at least keep it at what it's at, let the military stay at it's level, as opposed so social security that's already being abused at the level it's at. My reasoning is this: If military spending decreases, if anything happens, we are just that slight bit less unprepared, which could be the deciding factor in that event. If social security and medicare is cut, the people who abuse it will either win over, and the whole thing will reform to better protect against them, or the people who abuse won't have a place to dig a cubby hole and will no longer be able to abuse.
