Who all is against the LGBT community
seems to be but is not

1 - There is no such thing as the LGBT community. Like everybody else, LGBT folks are individuals. Just because some people throw them into the same category does not imply that they all share the same interests and goals, or that they all know each other and work together.
Saying they are a community is just more identity politics BS. Many of the conservatives I discuss in the following section are LGBT.
2 - The vast majority of people seem simply not to care about the whole LGBT thing. They just don't want to be treated as if they should care. This includes some of the gay folks I have known.
I mean, seriously, very few people care about the sexual preference of someone they are not having sex with, or who will not give them grandchildren.
Most of us get tired of being preached at by the folks who insist on being celebrated for their sexual preference, when it has nothing to do with us.
Being against gay pride parades and gay pride month is not a sign of being against LGBT folks, but rather it is about being against the divisiveness of identity politics. Generally we just don't want to hear it because we don't care.
The only real exception I see is when a miniscule minority want special privileges like special bathrooms in schools, or the right to take penises into schools' girls' bathrooms/locker rooms, and take vaginas into boys' bathrooms/locker rooms. Many conservatives who don't care how people dress, take exception to this because it affects their kids.
The conservative attitude is generally, if you want to pretend to be a girl or a boy, that is fine, but don't pretend that creates any obligation on my part. This is in no way anti-LGBT.
I have known thousands of very conservative people, many of whom were what might be described as the religious right. Even those who think homosexuality is a sin, do not think of it as a sin like theft or murder, but like lying: not a good thing to do, nor admire or sanction, but not to be punished. Phil Robertson is typical of this. He thinks homosexuality to be a sin, but is not a in favor of any discrimination against LGBT folks.
(What is funny is that the religious objections against homosexuality are based on fewer Bible verses than the number that prohibit eating shellfish or pork.)
Long gone are the days when ANY American has thought gays should be put in prison or mental hospitals.
Most folks just don't want to have to pretend they think it is wonderful when we know it is merely incidental and irrelevant.

Muslims are homophobic, but if you protest against that homophobia you become Islamophobic. There is a hierarchy in phobias forming.
Also I can't make it seem like a group of cock hungry people because lesbians are included in it and they don't eat sausage, they're vagitarians ;)
