This is a silly arguement. Here's one that could actually be a good debate, I'm not sure which side would win. Who does Anne Coulter hate more, Liberals or Terrorists. She would probably say Liberals are terrorists, and mean it, yet millions of Republicans buy her books and take her seriously. I cannot agree more with David. This debate is meant to somehow infer that Liberals either don't hate terrorists very much, or hate republicans so much that their even willing to ignore the deaths of thousands, of Americans and others in their decision making. As someone whose views tend to be liberal, I am shocked that anyone could be so narrow minded as to interpret my disagreement with Republican principles, as a sheer hatred that can even be compared to my dislike of terrorism. Many Liberals don't believe they're terrorists. they believe they're "freedom fighters". They'll argue that terrorists are just misled individuals. Or maybe it's AMERICA'S fault that they became terrorists because their family was killed by American soldiers. although, i do agree with David's response on saying that coulter would call Liberals terrorists. names? You can't talk about the far fringes as if they represent the whole. I could find republicans who think we should assassinate Obama, kick out or kill everyone who isn't a WASP, and close our country to all outsiders. But I don't make claims like "Many Conservatives believe the KKK are freedom fighters." I also don't make debates that presuppose that there are conservatives who actually like terrorists more than liberals. This debate is silly, because you cannot find a liberal or conservative anywhere that is not related to, or friends with someone of the opposite party. And they inevitably like that person anyway. They weren't grown up with all of the morals they needed, but they should still be able to choose between right and wrong.
