It belongs to the person it was named after and all who believe in the Christ Child...Jesus Christ. It is His birthday that is celebrated. Now if you don't like that or cannot accept it, then find yourself another holiday during the season you can latch on to. Christmas IS Christ-Time Side: Santa Claus

No one, because there's no legal rights to days of the year. I think though, even though the timing of the holiday, and the way it is celebrated are almost exclusively pagan, Christians have laid claim to it almost completely. Kind of like planting your flag on the moon, it's there, but who gives a sh-t. Side: no one
The mass of christ? The mass of christ is an invention of the Roman Catholic church to proselytize pagans whose rituals coincided with the winter solstice. Hence, that is why the mass of christ is at or near the winter solstice. That is an historical fact of the origin of christmas. The term "christmas" doesn't exist in the Bible. And prior to approx. 300 a.d. the mass of christ was unheard of, let alone an idea within the clergy of Rome. Key note: Any form of worship that the scriptures don't authorize is idolatry. Unlearned questions like the one of this debate deserve the respect that is due ignorance. Side: The catholic church owns christmas

Bro, Jesus doesn't want people worshiping him at all. You don't get it. He was the humble guy who lived his life doing all he could for other people. You know, even if he wasn't the son of god he died a pretty gruesome death to prove a point about human bitterness and how people with powerful egos can make the innocent suffer. I think what he would want is for people to just get along you know, and not be dicks to each other. I think on his birthday people should just have a hug fest and then confess a bunch of stuff. Then we can have present fest on New Years. Side: Jesus
