Anyway... You asked if we already have national health care. Tricky question. But... Yes. If everyone were pooor enough to qualify, we all have the right to Medicare and medicaid. But the point is that the prices being charged for the same pills and procedures here are inflated. The government, and the American citizens are being overcharged for health care. The prices being paid for administrative costs and phoney bills will continue to rise and Obama knows that by reforming the system now, we can save bagillions.
The reason I'm shocked you don't know this is because you obviously have Access to the I Internet... But I guess that's not the answer to your problem... Because the last time I checked they weren't selling human brain on eBay.... And I checked pretty recently.
If you really want to know, watch Obamas speeches. Heck, even Fox news is more informed that you...
But if you refuse to watch tv or, god forbid, read anything....
There is a great little podcast called "stuff you should know" from howstuffworks.com. It's not biased, the guys are researchers first, liberals second, and they work very hard to toss aside their opinions and bring only facts.
Well anyway, on iTunes you just go to podcasts>top tens>society and culture>stuff you should know. Look for their four episodes on health care and you'll know.... A lot more than you used to....
