Off subject slightly, I cannot understand why it is acceptable to donate dosh to a Black Only Institution when it would be deemed racist and discriminatory by many if a white celebrity made a similar act to a white cause. I feel Crosby is, and always has been a creep of the lowest order who preyed primarily on vulnerable and impressionable young girls over a long period of time. There really is something particularly vile about such people. Yes, O.J. Simpson was a vicious, volatile psychologically disturbed character whose shocking violence was/is, dare I say it, easier to understand. No sneaky underhanded, carefully planned violent rapes. As rape is described an activity usually involving sexual intercourse carried out forcibly or under threat against the victim's will, it is therefore reasonable to conclude that by definition of the word all rapes must, to a greater or lesser extent be violent. For your information, threat of violence is classified as a technical assault. Your account of rape in prisons is so graphically descriptive that one could be forgiven for assuming that you have had such a personal experience. Did you enjoy the occurrence? Would you willfully commit a crime just to relive those wonderful, orgasmic moments? Just for the record, I stated my opinion. O.J, is a violent, murderous shit who committed an unforgivable 'crime of passion''. Whether we wish to believe it or not most people in a heightened emotional state and given the right circumstances could commit murder. This is not an excuse for his dastardly deed, just recognition that so called 'crimes of passion' are regularly spawned from deep emotional disturbances which do not always form a permanent feature of the perpetrator's psyche'. For instance, in France those whose act of murder is deemed to have been a ''crime of passion'', often walk free. On the other hand Crosby must have coldly calculated his crimes well in advance and selected his victims for their vulnerability. Like all those of his type he has ruined the lives of so many and psychologically scarred them for life. In many cases of rape, such as children within religious orders, the victims who cannot come to terms with the traumatic experience take their own lives. The scheming filth Crosby would have known that suicide was a possible, if not probable scenario but still he plied his vile trade on the innocent. Both are horrible people. OJ murdered two people, violently. Bill raped dozen of women. Bill has had some instances of saying some really great things and donating quite a bit, perhaps to soothe his soul and feel something good about himself. Does that make it ok then? Absolutely not. But there are a lot of people who have Cosby to thank for their education and zero people who can look towards OJ and thank. It's a damn shame Cosby turned out to be such a crappy person but he has done some really great things compared to OJ. Again...doesn't excuse anything. Side: OJ Simpson
