i'm only voting on Mencia's side so people can read what i'm writing.

they both have a shit load of writers. think about it, none of them are actually smart enough to come up with some of the shit they come up with (although, Mencia seems slightly smarter than chappelle, but chappelle i find funnier).

if you listen to mencia talk to someone, he's corny as fuck, and if you listen to Dave talk to someone, he's stupid as fuck. they both obviously don't deserve to be voted on.

Mencia's a comedian?

Carlos Mencia has an unfortunate tendency to claim that people who don't like feel this way because they simply can't handle his no-holds-barred realness and whatnot, when, in fact, many people just like their comedy to be funny, and not, you know, totally unfunny. Additionally, Mencia has been accused, convincingly, of stealing jokes from a number of comedians, including George Lopez. Even if he didn't, we still have a situation here in which Mencia is delivering obvious jokes that have already been thought of. He's not the only offender in this respect, of course, but he's probably the richest offender. Also, he nicknamed himself "The Punisher." I mean, c'mon.

Meanwhile, Dave Chapelle's act has always been structurally brilliant, impeccably delivered, and absolutely inimitable.
