Flynn was not as forthcoming as was required. He should have been careful to give complete and correct answers, or when appropriate, to specify on what matters his memory was incomplete. He was either careless or dishonest, each of which is worse than the other, so screw him.
Many folks misunderstand the basis for reaching the logically necessary conclusion that the FBI leadership, and many rank and file agents are corrupt.
The evidence of the corruption is not who they catch and prosecute, but whose crimes they knowingly and openly ignore and allow to continue.
Hillary broke black letter law by disregarding COMSEC requirements, and she admitted during interviews that she did so. I am willing to give her the benefit of the doubt that she was ignorant or careless without dishonest intent. But this is no excuse for her any more than it is for Flynn.
Moreover, Hillary intentionally obstructed justice when she refused to turn over the bathroom servers immediately when they were subpoenaed. She or her minions further obstructed justice when they wiped the server during the time she delayed turning the server over.
Comey, while head of the FBI, testified that she made several untrue statements regarding the server, its contents, and her emails.
In the face of known negligence, obstruction of justice, and perjury, the FBI chose to prosecute only Republicans, and allow Democrats to skate for exactly the same crimes.
Citizens have a need for all the people in our government to be held to account, otherwise there is only slow and inexorable tyranny. When the people we depend on to hold them to account take sides, and hold crooks in one party to important standards while abetting crooks in another party, they are no longer guardians of law and order, but tools of a political machine.
When our law enforcement agency knowingly and willingly trade enforcement of law for tacit support of political corruption, then their corruption endangers us all.
Actually, it's the idiot that hired and directed him in the first place. Obama fired him, HE knew who the bad guys were … even before they got together!
“I probably wouldn’t have … gotten away with it.” Those words this week from former FBI Director James Comey could well be chiseled in marble as his epitaph. He was explaining another violation of bureau policy during his tenure days after meeting behind closed doors with House members.
What was shocking was not that Comey violated protocols or policies again but the reaction of the audience to his admission. In describing how he set up a critical meeting with Michael Flynn, former national security adviser to President Trump, the audience was audibly thrilled by his cleverness in keeping Flynn unrepresented by legal counsel and unaware of the true nature of the meeting.
In his interview in New York City, Nicole Wallace asked him, “It’s hard to imagine two FBI agents ending up in the State Room. How did that happen?” The audience erupted when Comey said dryly, “I sent them. Something we’ve, I probably wouldn’t have done or maybe gotten away with in a more organized investigation, a more organized administration. In the George W. Bush administration … or the Obama administration, two men that all of us, perhaps, have increased appreciation for over the last two years. In both of those administrations there was process.” He revealed, “So if the FBI wanted to send agents into the White House itself to interview a senior official, you would work through the White House counsel and there would be discussions and approvals and it would be there. I thought, ‘It’s early enough, let’s just send a couple of guys over.’”
DUMMY your COMEY proves the CRIMINAL he is by his own words and reported by the Left Wing Rag known as The Hill !

I don't care if Comey is the human personification of Satan. It doesn't absolve Trump of his sins. Your theory that Comey is a criminal is at odds with the fact that he and Trump are not friends, which one would expect given that Trump is a career criminal.

Now the Brit Troll known as Butt Lunch has made a claim with no evidence and here is what Butt Lunch said - Trump is a career criminal !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And the main point. Nothing to do with Donald Trump. The left took down a man doing things they happily overlook if they are in the tribe. Oh well. You destroyed a man who was there for years prior to Trump with no investigations. What's it to me? That's what the left does, smear, point fingers, and slander. Whatever it takes. But...Flynn doesn't run the country. You took a pawn off the board. So what. The king, queen, castles, knights, and etc are still on the board. Good job. You did 2 years of work to nail a pleb in the grand scheme of politics in an investigation that's original purpose was given up on a year ago.

One can only gawp at the rank stupidity of anybody cretinous enough to point his finger at the left and slander them, while in the SAME SENTENCE complaining about the left pointing fingers and slandering.
Your double standards border on farcical. I'm still half-convinced you are just a parody of a Trump supporter, not an actual Trump supporter. If I learn that people this stupid and heinously dishonest really do walk the Earth when I'm not looking it will shatter my faith in the actual point of human endeavour.
For those concerned that former FBI Director James Comey is suffering from early dementia, have no fear: His memory returned with a vengeance during a Sunday night interview with MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace.
On Friday, under questioning by House Judiciary Committee members, Comey answered, “I don’t know,” “I don’t recall,” or “I don’t remember” nearly 250 times during a six-hour closed-door hearing. His memory lapse included critical details like how the infamous Steele dossier reached his agency; who at the FBI drafted the initiation document to investigate the Trump campaign; who at the FBI had authority to open a counterintelligence probe into a presidential campaign; and his own comments about the tarmac meeting between his boss, Attorney General Loretta Lynch, and former president Bill Clinton. He said he didn’t know what the word “insidious” meant and couldn’t explain the difference between collusion and conspiracy.
But perhaps Comey loaded up on ginseng over the weekend because his vague and convenient memory miraculously returned when he was questioned by a fawning Wallace at a 92nd Street Y event just two days later. Tiny details about dates, locations, meeting participants and a funny moment during a briefing with President Obama in early January 2017 were recalled with ease. He knew enough about the recent Michael Cohen plea deal to suggest the president is an unindicted co-conspirator, and even recalled how Trump “lied” about the inauguration attendance. He claimed that it’s possible the Russians have tapes of Trump “engaged in unusual activities in Moscow.”
But perhaps his most explosive revelation was when Comey smugly revealed how he exploited the disarray during the Trump administration’s first weeks to corner National Security Advisor Michael Flynn about his monitored calls with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak in December 2016. Flynn, who already was under investigation by the FBI for his alleged ties to the Kremlin, had denied to senior administration officials that he discussed recently-imposed sanctions with the Russian diplomat.
“We knew those representations were very different than what the facts were,” Comey told Wallace. “Why was he lying?”
Comey then dropped this bombshell: He admitted that he bypassed normal White House protocol when he sent two FBI agents to interrogate Flynn. “It’s something I probably wouldn’t have done or wouldn’t have gotten away with in a more organized administration,” Comey said. “In the George W. Bush Administration or the Obama Administration . . . if the FBI wanted to send agents into the White House itself to interview a senior official, you would work through the White House counsel, there would be discussions and approvals and who would be there.
