My favorite Republican would have to be McCain mainly because he's just a good guy over all with integrity. The man was the exact opposite of a politician, yet he was a politician.

Now, it's hard for me to actually agree with Republicans, but the guy actually wanted to help the country (instead of just pander to corporations and the party).

Favorite Democrat? Kirsten Powers, I guess. She's hot and moderate (the only Democrat who's like that these days).

But fuck, I like Libertarians and Independents way more.

My favorite Republican is easily Barry Goldwater. While I usually disagree with most Republicans, I could have found myself easily voting for this man. He was a strong proponet of civil liberties, common sense and wasn't captive to the religious right like the rest of the GOP.

My favorite Democrat is a hard once cause I usually agree with most of them anyway. I guess one of my favorites would be Kirsten Gillibrand at the moment, because despite her relatively new tenure in the Senate, she has stood up strongly for Progressive ideals and also has worked tirelessly to repeal discriminatory legislation against LGBTs.

My favorite Democrat as of 2015 is Hillary Clinton and my favorite Republican would be anyone who deserts the Party and joins the Democrats.
