Who will win the World Series this year?

The hot Tampa Bay Rays or an underdog...

I think the Red Sox will repeat as World Series Champions in 2008. Their lineup is absurd, and provided they can keep their pitchers healthy going in to the postseason I don't think there's anyone that can stop them.

The Red Sox are the best team in the league. If they can get Big Papi healthy before the post season rolls around, they will be unstoppable.

At this point in time, the Angels seem to be the strongest team around. Sure they have their down times such as their 4-error-10-unearned run game against the Yankees, but they have a strong offense and powerful pitching.

Keep your eye on them!

The Phillies are looking very good to win the 2008 World Series. Currently (7/7/08) they are ranked 6th on ESPN's Power Rankings. The are sitting on top of the NL East with a 2.5 game lead.

The team also has experience. Pat Burrel, Ryan Howard, Chase Utley and Jimmy Rollins have all seen the playoffs (lost to the Rockies last year).

Last year, the missing piece was the bullpen and it seems to be rectified at the moment. Colbert Hamels and Jamie Moyer are both pitching great.

Let's go Phightin' Phils!

I am hoping for a Chicago vs. Chicago WS! That would be great! Go White Sox!
