OK, so they're going to hell...., but you still love them..., right?

Going to hell? Why waste time creating such a terribly hateful and generalizing debate? I for one am a homosexual man, and I do not consider myself intolerant. I don't act in the manner that you have spoken of, and I know not one single gay person that does. I don't know if we're going to hell or not, but this debate is incredibly mean and nasty, and it is quite uncalled for.

Also, your debate description goes well outside the boundaries of your debate's title.

Okay, first of all we are not trying to infringe on anything, I would say quite the opposite. You are infringing on our freedom to be who we are, to believe what we believe and to love who we love. Also, that has absolutely nothing to do with the debate at hand except for the fact that it is generalizing homosexual people.

This debate is one of the most ignorant, rude and offensive debates I have come across on this web site. Please refrain from being a complete asshole.

Okay so I just re-read the description, and I have one more thing to say:

Would YOU have tolerance for someone who put that kind of judgement on you?

I have a close friend, who I will call Jessie who is mormon, and who is against gay marriage and gay adoption. She has friends who are gay, at least one of whom I know is aware of my Jessie's views. This friend and I talked about it one time, and she said that Jessie had every right to feel the way she does.

Also, I think a lot of gay people who are intolerant of Christians are so because they have received so much intolerance FROM Christians. You also may be mistaking some things pro gay rights people do as intolerance when it is simply speaking out about a cause they believe in.

I'm not saying there are no "militant gays" who slam those who disagree with them, but to label ALL gay people as intolerant is simply not true.

Why would anyone have the least bit of tolerance if someone tells them they are evil and that they are going to hell? You must be a bit off the beam and more! No one tolerates it because no one has to.

I just find this whole debate funny as fuck.

I look at it this way if you don't push your ways on me i don't say anything about them but when a fag at my school told me that people are born gay not choose them self's to be gay. I got a whole new look at it I hate fag's even more than i ever have and i don't know why. and i though about the born gay, that would mean I baby would have a 50% chance of being gay and straight people are the majority in the world as far as i know and by that it would leave a margin of 49% to 51% vice versa
