1) I like arguing.

2) Playing devil's advocate is fun.

3) I like pointing out other people's mistakes, especially ones regarding logic or science.

4) Sometimes learn new things.

I came to this site looking for intelligent life........still looking.

I enjoy debating/discussing topics, both with reasonable people and people with radical views. I live in a town that is mostly liberal, so it's hard to find people who disagree with me. So here I am. xD

Uhhhhhh...... I'm pretty much not here anymore.

Pros :-Why, to objectively learn and exchange ideas about life the universe and everything with other human animals.

Cons :- Very disappointing there is no delete button for the plethora of subjective self indulgent material

I hoped to debate subjects other than abortion and gay marriage.

To shame left-wing nut jobs and religitards. So basically to have a go at idiots.

To poke fun at prevailing ideas.

I'm here just to talk to someone and keep up with this person who is messaging me on here. I hardly ever debate now because I have no time for it, and it's a waste of time. Can't believe, I spent 4 years on this place arguing with people who will argue over anything to the bone about something.

Ideally but less frequently, to engage with intelligent counter perspectives and challenge my own views. Failing that though, some light trolling and opportunistic snark never made my boredom any worse.

To express my different opinions/thoughts about different things. I find I can do it on here as it is more civil, to a certain extent.

If you want to meet people I would suggest social clubs or events that invokes socialization. Perhaps interpersonal discourse will suit you best.
