CreateDebate is a social debate community built around ideas, discussion and democracy.
If this is your first time checking out a debate, here are some quick tips to help get you started:
Arguments with the highest score are displayed first.
Argument replies (both in favor and in opposition) are displayed below the original argument.
To follow along, you may find it helpful to show and hide the replies displayed below each argument.
To vote for an argument, use these icons:
You have the power to cast exactly one vote (either up or down) for each argument.
Once you vote, the icon will become grayed out and the argument's score will change.
Yes, you can change your vote.
Debate scores, side scores and tag scores are automatically calculated by an algorithm that primarily takes argument scores into account.
All scores are updated in real-time.
To learn more about the CreateDebate scoring system, check out the FAQ.
When you are ready to voice your opinion, use the Add Argument button to create an argument.
If you would like to address an existing argument, use the Support and Dispute link within that argument to create a new reply.
Communism, despite the historic examples of its failure and corruptions, at least in prinicple is supposed to be about taking care of everyone in society. Whereas Nazism in principle is about taking care of a select group by destroying or exploiting those who are not part of the select group.
They're both ugly, it's just Nazism is even uglier than Communism.
"Believe something different" than what, acquiring the entirety of one's knowledge of current events from YouTube, as you claim all "right wingers" do?
What a hair-splitting, question dodging, pedantic, smarmy little worm.
He asked you do you agree with the video. If so, what qualifies YouTube as a news source? But you're either too thick or too slimy to read between the lines and answer directly.
"What a hair-splitting, question dodging, pedantic, smarmy little worm."
What a thoroughly unsubstantiated, pointlessly insulting phrase (it's not even a complete sentence).
"He asked you do you agree with the video."
Not once did they ask me that. The only statement they made that could possibly be construed as a legitimate question was "Why do right wingers get their news from YouTube?", which was not only obviously rhetorical (and therefore not a legitimate question), but a clear example of hasty generalization, which I explicitly pointed out, not to mention a loaded question.
"But you're either too thick or too slimy to read between the lines and answer directly."
Unlike yourself, who goes out of their way to baselessly attack others over nonexistent accusations? Clearly, the moral superiority here rests firmly on you.
So much for challenging my statements on a rational basis.
I don't think you could find many Democrats OR Republicans that don't hate them equally. Lately though, I can see why you are confused. Many Republicans seem to side with Putin on many things, not so the Democrats. But then , many conservatives seem to want an authoritarian government.... one party to make ALL the decisions, decisions by decree (also known as executive orders), everyone not in the "elite" class MUST be considered "workers" or no food, no medical attention, DO NOT leak government secrets! DO NOT speak against the government! Revere the President as the all powerful entity OF that government! DO NOT protest (unless it's against someone who doesn't like what the government is doing!) Follow the Constitution AS WE READ IT!
Yeah, I can understand the confusion of conservatives!
Revere the President as the all powerful entity OF that government!
The left looked like they thought Obama was literally the messiah. The MSM hardly touched him with negative press. They would wait for him at McDonalds while he played golf...
MUST be considered "workers" or no food, no medical attention
The people saying this many times refuse to work. Anyone who is disabled is on medicare or medicaid and has a food card. (Way more than most countries provide) And many times they have cell phones, internet, and Dish Network, which are all luxuries.
No. Do not use intimidation and violence to shut down conservative speaking events. Do not put on masks that conceal your identity, and then burn cars, tip over dumpsters, knock out business windows, and attack conservatives for having different worldviews than you.
I don't know of ANY Democrats that want the 2nd "gone"! I certainly don't! There are millions of Democrats (liberals to you) that are gun owners and want to keep them. I would fight against removal of the 2nd as hard as YOU would, however, several of the amendments have been modified, and the 2nd is one that should be! NOT "gone", just making as sure as possible, that the wrong people have a difficult to impossible time getting them. If that's not common sense, in your estimation, you HAVE no common sense!
Again, regarding the 1st, "liberals" do not want to restrict ANYBODY'S free speech and only a very few take it to violence ... and that's about equal on BOTH sides! WE don't like the "tough", vicious talk that got Trump elected and I am certain that a Democrat acting that way would be soundly defeated by his/her own people. We don't like it from YOUR side, either!
Keep listening to Faux News and you'll NEVER hear the truth!
I don't watch Fox News. I watch the msm. It's better entertainment watching liberals lie, have meltdowns, and give emotional appeals over intellectual appeals.
NOT "gone", just making as sure as possible, that the wrong people have a difficult to impossible time getting them
Statistically speaking, these people aren't getting legal guns. This makes the attempt as pointless as the "war on drugs" by restricting legal meds. They aren't getting legal drugs.
WE don't like the "tough", vicious talk that got Trump elected
I don't care how someone talks. I care about if they keep the economy, job environment and national security stable. The last 2 Presidents talked nice and polite. Then they created the chaos and hell that is now manifested upon the Earth.
If you read the new world order book:chapter29 :The Attack on the Family, you will realise it serves some people's interests right. Very powerful people.
Nazism means following the policies of the national socialist party of the German workers, this includes genocide. If you support communism you do not have to support genocide even though some communists do. Logic = difficult?
