Why should I be punished for being rich with higher taxes?

The Democrat (Socialist) Party believes that taking money from a responsible hard working American, and giving it to a lazy irresponsible person, is the way to run a nation. Can you imagine any intelligent person believing that rewarding laziness and irresponsibility, and punishing hard work and success, will encourage the best in people. I say Progressive Socialists are insecure people who can not stand having consequences for one's efforts in life. They are too insecure to take accountability for their own choices in life. 1

The Democrat Party has made the Rich out to be the enemy for decades now. It plays to their welfare base. No matter what the GOP does for the middle class, Democrats scream they only give tax cuts to the Rich. It's all politics and is sickening how shallow and corrupt politicians have become. I agree, the Rich should be praised for all the jobs they create, but the Left constantly demonizes them. Have discrepancies between executive salaries and laborer salaries gotten out of hand? In some cases they have, but to only find fault with income disparity and never giving credit for job creations is pure political corruption. I'm middle class and Trump's tax overhaul helped me, but to hear the Democrats, it was all geared to help the Rich. 1
