We should probably start with the liberals. All their protesting is starting to make my rush hour commute very hellish every time they decide to block the roads in protest. If you are an atheist, then you can't logically have any problem with 'liberals', as liberals who engage in acts of violence are simply practicing atheism and letting themselves be governed by their primal and barbaric impulses like any other animal, so they are your kind who logically you should embrace. The orders in religions were written by people for people for the sake of keeping society civil, finding out what they're all up to, and then making them comply with what you need to do to govern them. The big exception to that was Christ himself who bucked convention almost every chance he could. And then his people had him killed and then twisted even that life lesson into the same do this or else message. It's a load of bull. Side: True.

People who are morally fit to govern themselves without conventional religion don't have to worry about being governed by it. Though generally it is those vile individuals who have a disproportionate distaste for religion who are the most in need of being governed by it. Religion helps to govern uncivilized people much like laws and governments, so there's no logical reason to have a problem with that unless one is an anarchist and believes all government should cease to exist. The problem isn't with people believing what they want to believe. The problem is when they impose their religion on others who do not have that same religion. Which is precisely why separation of church and state helped to make the US great for two centuries - until recently when the religious right finally won. Side: True.

Religion demands you to carry out black and white instructions out of fear of burning for eternity. Without religion, you say morality is completey meaningless. How many times must we hear people who judge God say that God says killing people is ok. Most times when God speaks to killing people he is speaking to killing the enemies as in WAR? When he flooded the Earth it was because the human race had become evil. He allowed the only good people to live. How many times have we listened to Liberals call Christians and Conservatives hypocrites when we are against abortion, but support the death penalty? To any thinking person, IT IS OBVIOUS the difference betwwen supporting the death penalty to murderers versus killing innocent unborn babies. When God says not to kill people, he means not to MURDER the innocent. Killing is an obvious thing people have always been able to do to enemies who would kill us. It's funny of all the anger from people who don't even believe in God. Ask yourself why they are so insecure with Christians and God when they don't even believe he exists. Side: Wait..., what? No!!!

The universe is young, why are you waiting for 'ragnarok' when the notion of an end to the universe in many ancient texts was something not predicted to occur for billions, or even trillions of years and lifetimes. This is an example of atheists ignorance of things that require deeper and symbolic thought, as well as their own vapid fascination with their own individual lives, which are as far as the universe is concerned, just a microscopic blip on the evolutionary radar. The problem is that most atheists lack the intelligence and creativity to understand deeper philosophical concepts. Being creativity-stunted (and often morally stunted as well, caring only about their meaningless material pleasures and sufferings), they only think in terms of external, material things, and view the messages in the Bible and world religions as just referring to literal, physical things, physical death, physical pain, etc. They don't understand deeper philosophical concepts of symbolic thought, or the ways in which the formal sciences of the universe, such as logic and aesthetics tie in with religious mythology and symbolism. This is essentially why "intelligence" as the West often measures it isn't a very good descriptor of personal competence or creativity. The fact that the average atheist arguing about "God this, god that" on the internet is so creativity and emotionally stunted that he can't even get a date, when even most "stupid" people can, if anything shows that being an atheist is counter-productive to Darwinism, since being an angry, nasty atheist seems to decrease, rather than increase the odds of one being able to reproduce. Not really, Plus God doesn't create atheists or people's physical forms. Physical forms are the result of the laws of nature taking their course, which of course are not pre-determined per se. God would be the creator of the formal laws of the universe, mathematics and aesthetics, from which the essense of man, not his physical form comes, not the physical nature of man. And as I mentioned earlier, rape is the practice of atheism, so rapists may explain from a Darwinian perspective why atheists haven't been weeded out, even though they should, as rape and murder are simply the practice of atheism unfettered. But if we could find a way to eliminate those things from existence, we'd eliminate atheism in the process. Side: True.

Not all church goers are spiritual, nor are all condo Dwellers atheistic. My opinion is that with the exception of the English, Germanic, and Scandinavian nations, Europe is a more spiritual part of the world than America is, France and Switzerland, and the nations of the Romance languages in particular. You can judge how spiritual a nation is by its sense of aesthetics (as aesthetics is the language of God), Paris for example is far more beautiful than New York, so I would say Paris is a more spiritual nation, some may be confused into thinking they are atheist even if inwardly, they are not. America today is quite materialistic and atheistic, most churchgoers are likely more atheistic in practice than spiritual in America, which of course ties in with the true message of religious texts, such as Jesus' claim about the narrow gate. The true way to experience the essence of God is to meditate in solitude, rather than in a church if possible. Side: True.
The world is full of conflict. Religion teaches us that we have to suck it up until the second coming when God will throw the wicked into the lake of fire (or something like that) and the meek will inherit the earth. There is more to it than just that. God doesn't throw people in Hell. Nowhere in scripture does it say that. People send themselves to hell for the choice that they made, One of God's commandment is "thou shall not kill." But He had David running around killing his enemies. He condoned it. And He himself wiped out everything with His 40 days and 40 nights of rain crap. So life isn't as precious as He would have us believe. A lot of the Old Testament stuff that was killing involved were over Israel, or God was judging people because they were doing evil, and God took a stand and said enough is enough and decided to do something about it. So, instead of waiting for the second coming, I say we nuke the bastards causing all the problems and stirring the pot as it were. We then declare ourselves to be the meek and lay claim to the planet. Then, if and when He comes, we can just tell Him that we took care of it all ourselves and that we no longer need His services and that He can just fuck off and leave us the hell alone. Only more problems would arise. We can't take care of it ourselves because, we as humans aren't perfect at all and we'll always mess things. God on the other hand loves us and wants a relationship with Him. That's why there are Christians around the world spreading good news to people, so that when the time comes people will be ready and not perish. Side: Wait..., what? No!!!

For the record, studies such as Oxford Research have more or less proven that people, and even animals are born theistic (elephants for example engage in primitive forms of religious and burial rites), so no one is born atheist, atheism I believe is the result of psychological deviation and immorality, essentially one wanting to play God, much as Satan's rebellion was described in the Bible. Truth is like it or not, many well-known atheists are evil people, such as Stalin, Marquis de Sade, possibly Hitler, and of course Karl Marx. Side: Wait..., what? No!!!
You cite a study performed by a Christian which will of course be biased. To assert people are born theistic is incorrect for a few reasons. 1.) Even if humans and mammals are born with an innate belief there is something higher than they, this could only point to deism, not theism. 2.) When a baby is born they do not have the knowledge or capability to form a belief in anything much less a supreme being. There really is no way of concluding any animal is born as a believer. 3.) elephants for example engage in primitive forms of religious and burial rites Are you suggesting elephants have a soul? Most theists do not believe this so I'm curious. Aside from that, having ritualistic tendencies does not equal being religious nor does it get any closer in actually proving such a god exists. Lastly, just because you list a few people who were atheists and did evil things doesn't mean all atheists are evil (by the way, Hitler spoke against Atheism). I can just as easily list people who have done evil acts in the name of Christianity. Side: True.
