Will Joe Biden be a better Vice President than Hilary could have been?

I think that Hilary could have been a better candidate for Vice President than Joe Bidden. For starters, Obama kinda upset some women voters by choosing Biden over Hilary. Apparently though the women were not upset enough to vote the McCain-Palin ticket in anger (check out election results!), thank goodness! Anyway, the women out there did feel slighted though. Hilary has already spent eight long years in the White-house and had to deal with all kinds of scandal, and if you ask me came through it gracefully. She would have been an asset as we work through the financial crisis and ending a war that is turning into a quagmire resembling Vietnam.

Hillary Clinton will still play a significant role in the Obama government. From looking at Wikipedia, if her appointment to Secretary of State goes through, she'll get a more interesting job than Biden and she's fourth in line for the Presidency, if something really bad happens.

As for who's better, I can't really say. I've only heard biased reports about both of them.

I too am a great Hillary Clinton supporter and always was. I was crushed that she did not get the nomination and hoped Obama would choose her to be his V.P. but you can't choose someone simply because many women felt badly about her loss and her not being chosen as V.P. Yes, Hillary did spend 8 very long years in the White House and handled the situation (s) as gracefully as anyone possibly could have.

She's going to have another shot at the White House if she still wants it but no one really knows if she really wanted the V.P. spot anyway. Knowing the way she thinks, I doubt it. As Secretary of State she will be critical to ending the war in Iraq and bringing a new peace to that part of the world. Remember that her Foreign Relations abilities were, what many thought, inadequate for the Presidency. It may have been her downfall in the end. She is in a perfect position now.

I think both of them are placed exactly where they belong at this point. Hillary knows it's been many a year since a V.P. ran against a sitting President and won the office. She's in a much better position as Secretary of State to either stay as such or run for the Presidency again. Hillary can do much more good on the foreign relations end and up her elect-ability quotient accordingly. Joe Biden will make a terrific V.P. for Barack Obama. For his career, it will be his crowning achievement. Joe's no dope by any stretch of the imagination and has drafted some pretty darned good legislation through the years plus he's very well liked by both Republicans and Democrats alike. I believe they've struck the best balance for the entire team.
