Will Nuclear Warfare become inevitable?

I think someone will do it, the actual impact has to be realised in order for people to really see what's at stake, it could be something like India/ Pakistan or North/South Korea. The reality of the situation is that Hiroshima and Nagasaki seem like distant mythical stories now and the power of the warheads dropped then is paltry to the power of the warheads now made.

All it takes is one and the resulting backlash will see a man made disaster, like never before. The thing is I'm not even talking about full scale world nuclear war, just two regions. There's enough power in those two countries arsenal to induce a nuclear winter over Europe, Asia and Africa, the effects of which would rock the entire planet and I believe something like this will probably have to happen in order for people to start taking the disarmament seriously, and that comes with it's own set of problems too.

I feel like that's dying down. There hasn't been too much threat about anything of that likes coming to pass.

Inevitability is never a certainty.

Though, the American ICBMs are still on high alert twenty years after the end of the cold war, so anything can happen.
