Any Right Winger who says people are innocent until proven guilty, typically says this too when their favored political figure is being accused of something (which has been often in the last few years).
As for Bronto, he is expressing his own hopes concerning this investigation, just as his opposition has for over a year. But the correct answer, whether it’s Kavanaugh, Smollett, Trump, or whoever, is to wait for the investigation to be completed.

None of these people were sent to jail for anything remotely connected to "collusion" with Russia. Mueller is actually making American justice more like Russian "justice" using most of the tools our bastards use to frame and presecute political opponents. It's true.. Who knew how many law breakers an investigation into collusion would yield? You're not suggesting, are you, that because they weren't the target of the investigation, or didn't themselves "collude", they shouldn't be prosecuted??? Dude!
Plus, all but Manafort pleaded GUILTY. In America, we put guilty people IN jail. LETTING the connected OFF sounds more like Russia that what Mueller is doing..
When a law official goes looking for a certain crime and uncovers many other crimes, he would be derelict in his duties if he just ignored them! If it was "like Russian Justice", Mueller would have been "radiated" by now (or have a broken neck from drinking too much ;-). The people who went, and some that are going, are guilty of, what would be called "treason" if one could not afford top grade lawyers! A crime is a crime, if it is found, you punish it! If he closed his eyes to them he WOULD "be a disgrace to the U.S. values and principles".

Now, there's this thing called "emoluments" that is a somewhat different way of "profiting from a position". Like charging extremely high rate at a hotel owned by a politician. Like charging extremely high rates, and profiting from, the Secret Service that must stay AT YOUR CLUB to "protect you". Then charge extremely high rates AT those clubs for people that want to make deals with you. Forcing Security Clearances onto relatives who talk "money making deals" with both friends AND enemies (of the country).
