Agreed, and indeed not only would hunger, poverty etc. be reduced but hemp products would also reduce the need for oil/fuel requirements, which would essentially mean we wouldn't need to go to the middle-east for fuel and non-biodegradeable plastics, which are a major contribution to landfill and contaminating the land. There are many people who believe that the "war on drugs" is a lost cause because policy makers are looking down the wrong end of the telescope. In effect policies worsen the problem by making it illegal. However it takes a lot of effort by agencies to encourage bureaucrats to think outside of the box. Injecting rooms and legal pharmaceuticals have been effective in managing opiate addiction. So there are alternatives to prohibition and there is an economic value for tax revenue for controlled legislation of marijuana Side: Yes, the world would be better

Yes it would. I believe, that there should be small boxes of weed, on every street corner. Whenever people get scared, they want it to be illegal. Why? Just put drugs on every street corner, so that when people go by they either say:" Oh that's drugs, that's not for me". Or they would say:" Hell yeah drugs. Give me". Its an individual choice. So you don't want to take drugs? Dont take them! Its your choice, but dont take that freedom from other people. Side: Yes, the world would be better

Give me one shred of evidence for a death caused by marijuana. Only one case has been reported where a lady smoked marijuana and then died in her sleep from a heart attack, but the evidence that this was caused by the marijuana was slim. She was a regular user as well. Side: Yes, the world would be better

I am not sure if you think this because Marijuana hasn't gained much traction in Singapore (correct me if I am mistaken but I believe that's where you are from), but Cannabis does not kill people. It doesn't even cause serious long term health effects so long as the person partaking is over ~21. Side: Yes, the world would be better
