I imagine it would be pretty fun, so long as you can still get your work done.

Just make sure shes/He is the type that can get along with you if you guys break it off and it should be fine.

Working with close friends and people you know makes the day go by faster, and work more enjoyable.

I wouldn't keep it a secret, unless the company has issues with it or if one of you is a subordinate to the other.

The first may result in repercussions and the second is unprofessional and also has its repercussions due to that fact.

You may also want to keep it on the low if you of you might get promoted and have influence over the others work group.

Otherwise, whats the point?

I did and I kept a secret and then when we both got hired by another company we didn't have to keep it a secret anymore.

Anyway, dating a co-worker makes it easier to get nooner ;)

I have done that before, I can't say if I would do it again or not. It depends on the person, and the policies of the work place. I don't know if I would risk losing a job these days if it were a no no where you worked.

Yeah I understand that. I dated a co-worker one time and married him, but we both worked for an ambulance company and never saw each other because we weren't on the same route so I guess that helped. weird though once we both moved up into other positions we weren't compatible anymore and divorced. we did last 7 years though.

I don't like dating in general because in real life I don't like issues, and the issues from dating a co worker, and keeping it a secret would be astronomical.

I couldn't imagine waking up seeing my woman, giving her a kiss good day. Then going to work after just doing that and trying to treat her as no more than a co worker.
