Personally, I would love one. I usually check out my Digg dashboard widget a few times per day.

Yeah, that would be great. Just bought a new HP laptop w/ Windows Vista and would be awesome to have a CD widget to check throughout the day.

Well you better make sure your hardware is compatible with the latest OS X kernel because you'll need to make that HP into a hackintosh for this widget (not "gadget") to be useful for you.

Perhaps someone who has the time and knowhow can develop one for Vista or iGoogle.

Actually, iGoogle isn't a bad idea.

Ok, here's the update as of Thursday August 21st 08

I just finished backing up all of my information. I'm using Tiger and Dashcode isn't instalable on Tiger anymore. I should have Leopard within the next few days, so hang in there, there should be a beta in the next week or so depending on when I actually get the copy.

If you have any internesting ideas for the design/function of the widget let me know. I am making this for everyone, so your thoughts are important to me.

What's the CD08 skin and what would the zip be good for? To phone home? To correct time from different time zones? Is the current theme on CD the "CD08 skin" you speak of?
