Would you go back to see Jesus?

If there was a time machine would you go back to see if Jesus was a true miracle worker?

I would, but only so I could truly know one way or the other, and then make plans accordingly. If he really was, I would become a very religious and pious person. If he wasn't, I would go on living my life to the fullest.

If I did go back and see something, one way or the other, people still wouldn't believe me. It really would only be for my own benefit.

People would definitely believe you. You have a time machine. Why wouldn't they think you were telling the truth?

Gabe, how many people today claim to have a time machine?

OK. And how many of those do you believe? They can babble on and on about what they saw while on their "trips," but nobody believes them. So why would anyone believe me? They wouldn't. ;)

I hadn't thought of it that way. I was about to say "no" since I can simply wait and see at the end of my life, but I like the whole fact that you can go back and see what he was really about first.

Of course I would if there was a way. It would definitely increase my faith

Would it still increase your faith even if he turned out to be a fraud?

Side: No

By all means, YES! I would have liked to meet such a man as this, much in the same way I would have liked to meet and spend time with Gandhi.

Yes, i would but not to prove that he's real as this would mean i had no faith in the 1st place , but to see the incredible man he was and to up my belief..

I would want to know if what I was doing on Sunday was really worth it. I believe without a doubt and to disprove all of the nonbelievers I think would be the better move but who knows maybe I would disprove myself >.>

Yes, because true or false, a painful reality is better than a pleasant delusion.

That is an excellent post and that is a definite up vote.

Why live an illusion when you can live fact or face the music?

Yes and no. I'd like to say I have the fullest faith, but in moments of doubt, that would be very tempting. To see him! But, don't all of us dream of seeing one day, in heaven?

John 20:29

Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."

That could be a good experience and one hell of adventure if I can go back to the time where Jesus was doing all those supercool things with other people. I will surely bring back a couple of my digital cameras and capture every details of the miracles he made. If I could take supercool shots, great. Atheist will sure drive nuts as I upload all of my documentary and footage in Youtube.

I wouldn't go and see if Jesus was real because it would make all the Christians crazy and upset the whole world. On the other side if he was real then that would drive all those atheist people nuts. I just think it would upset too many people.

Side: No

Actually, even if we could prove that Jesus did exist, which we can't, it still wouldn't prove a thing about his suppoed divinty.

Atheists would be fine.

Some things are just better left unknown. I know if I found out he was a fake I'd just HAVE to crush the faith of everybody and that'd make me a prick. Plus it'd kill the hopes of a lot of people and drive others insane.
