I don't wanna BE admired or envied in the eyes of somebody else.. By the same token, I admire VERY few people, and I don't have an envious bone in my body.
The truth is, I have NO idea what success IS. Clearly, I don't adopt societies version of success.. I'm allowed to define it for myself, just as you are.. You may think success is financial riches, whereas I might think success is simply feeding my family.

When I asked if you would prefer a life that is admirable or enviable, you opted for successful, but you don’t know what that means. I don’t care how you prefer to characterize an ideal life for yourself, but you should try to characterize it in ways that at least you understand.

You may in fact admire far more people than you realize, to varying degrees. For instance, I admire Firefighters, Paramedics, extreme sports athletes (e.g. Motocross Freestyle, etc. etc.), etc. etc.
I think admirable would be best. For me, enviable means unattainable for others. Admirable could mean rising above what is attainable or working with the best of what you have. I would rather admire someone for their accomplishments than be envious of them, and I would like the same to be said of me given the two choices.
I like your response. It brought to mind the idea that the primary difference may be that an enviable situation has to do with what you have while an admirable situation has to do with who you are.
