Young Millennials of the early 90's- Present View of Church and Religion

I personally am a 23 year old Millennial struggling for acceptance and a stronger relationship with God. But the question is, why are there so many people my age and younger and in their early 30's not going to church as much and not caring to get a stronger relationship with God? I am aware of the many articles that there are about such conclusions and topics, but there really is never a answer that can help me or someone else understand why this has happened to this modernized generation. It is also a personal struggle for everyone not just Millennials. It is for everyone at any age. The question stays pending. You can go to a church, with an amazing preacher that is humble and preaching so hard he breaks a sweat, and then you feel a pull at your heart. A pull that is wanting you to go to that altar and be truly saved. But alot of us do not act upon that feeling due to being afraid of letting go and crying in front of church peers. Why is that way? Why are we wanting acceptance from our church peers? When the whole purpose of going to church is to learn and build a relationship with God. There is the keyword, " acceptance''. Funny how that one word we all have wanted at several points in our lives. To be accepted by the popular group of kids in school. To be accepted as who you are. To be accepted at work by your peers. To be accepted at church by peers. Even accepted by our own families. Why is that so? Why is that such a determining factor for us? Shouldn't the term '' acceptance'', be used in a better way? Shouldn't acceptance be used for accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior? For it also being used by accepting that life, work, how we are, who we are, who are families are, is what it is? Another funny thing is, we all know the correct way to use acceptance but fail to do so. What about the strong need for a stronger relationship with God? We all can say we know Jesus died on the cross for us, and paid with his life for our sins so we could have everlasting life. And he did not have to give up his life at all. But loved us all so much, but we were so cruel and not thankful in return. But, we still don't try or attempt hard enough to build that relationship. We just shun him away, and say to everyone for show that we do have a strong relationship with God. But why do we do that? Why not be honest? Why not tell the truth and state, no i do not have a strong relationship with God, i am a sinner, and need Gods help and guidance and the church for help. Why is that so hard? Many believe from what i have read and studied in my lifetime, is the reason why, is because we are ashamed and afraid. Their is so much wrong in this world, so much evil, so many different sins we all commit daily. We view ourselves as unworthy, not worth saving because we continue to do wrong and sin, so what is the point? Also something else i read that sent a chill down my spine is because we believe he has abandoned us? It is a strong statement, but ,many believe so. Because of all the bad in the world and how it continues to get worse. How many say, where are the miracles? The signs? The love of God? Many want a huge miracle that they can see. For instance, the ones in the bible. Such as the parting of the Red Seas for Moses, Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead, the falling of Jericho. Funny thing is, if something again happened like that again, no one would believe it, and would want to say it is because of science or a natural disaster. Or even worse case scenario, ignore it in general. We want big miracles like that, but yet would say and think the things i just stated above. Truth is, everyday miracles happen. I have been told and shown many times in my life small miracles that opened my eyes. But many ignore these, why? Why do that? Many ask what are these small miracles in life? Some say it is the true unconditional  love you have with your spouse, significant other. That it is the closet thing to heaven and Gods love there is. Others say it is the undying love for a mother and her child. There is several different statements that people say that are miracles. Personally my miracles are having undying love from my family and signifcant other. By always having what i truly need in life and being able to have another morning to wake up and be alive and well. There is no wrong miracle. Miracles come in many different ways. But for people that deny miracles happen,, what about the fact they wake up every morning alive? That entirely is a miracle happening to every single living thing on this earth. But yet, many still believe God abandoned them. Why? For these reasons that i have stated that people fail to establish a stronger relationship with God, why do so, so many struggle with the right way for acceptance and a stonger relationship with God?

Bronto Lie Counter: #88

Bronto Pretends to be implies that he is Christian; given his level of outright dishonesty (88 lies in a period of only a handful of days), and given that this dishonesty is mallicious and done knowingly; and given that he is blaming others in his last post; it's clear he is either knowingly lying about the causes, knowingly misrepresenting his own honesty, or knowingly misrepresenting his faith: or a combination of all 3. As I only know there is at least one lie in there, he only gets one lie count; rather than the full 3.

I personally myself have to argue miracles happen and that the fact we wake up alive everyday is proof. God is with us.

Hello Young:

Didn't they teach you about PARAGRAPHS in your millennial school?

The Earth is in the exact same state as it would be in without a God. Why wouldn't people believe they can be in the same state with God as people who go to church?

Look up the Catholic Church, read the catechism, read the works of the saints. It's literally everything you need to know.
