Your opinion on Make-up

Do you think it's good or bad? Or do you have a middle ground with it?

I think there isn't anything wrong with it. I don't use it but lots of girls do. Its something that we use to just improve our looks. Sometimes it is used in excess but for the most part we just wanna look pretty. I know some guys prefer a girl that doesn't use it because it hides their looks but i think its generally okay to use.

I would have added my original post as support to LizziexLaura, but I was writing mine when she posted hers. Makeup should be used at your discretion, but if it makes you feel good, then go ahead and do it! Just no too much!

I like makeup...not too much...maybe not too little either. Either way, do what you feel comfortable with but definitely take in feedback to help find your balance!

I think that some women do look good without and with makeup and a lot of girls at my school have it on everyday but some put way too much and others I don't know why they put makeup.

It's not as bad as my experience with the media has made it out to be. I feel like unlike most girls, I have been showered with all this "You're beautiful the way you are!" stuff since at least second grade, and it was nailed into my head before I was even exposed to that kind of pressure (at which point I found it laughable).

But anyway, it's not actually that bad. Sometimes making oneself look nice can be fun, and makeup is also important when you need to look professional. So definitely somewhere in the middle.
