We can not prove aliens exist and have been watching us and we can't prove that picture is real. My theory is this: Earth is a young planet and its inhabitants have had a short existence. we have used a lot of resources but not as much as aliens on a much older planet would have. If aliens are desperate enough to send a long journey of many thousands of lightyears to explore space and find us, they obviously have a reason to come here. That reason based on the above statements i believe would be lack of resources. if they need resources and we have them and they are more advanced than us (since they are older and are also capable of deep space travel) they will attack. tthats what I believe. That picture was taken and the Battle of LA was documented in WW2. No Japenese planes spotted but a unidentified object was seen flying above the city. Your theory that a advanced socity would need reasources and if desperate enough they could attack us for our reasources. I belive that a socity that has been around long enough would have alternate power. I'm not saying there are solar ships or things like that. I am saying that a socity could use the radiation from a star or nucelar fission/fusion for power. I think that they could easily prefect the processes that we can't. There could be aliens out there that would kill us for our fossle fules but there are also could be aliens that won't kill us. One of my Extra Terestal theroies is that a socity evolved enough, with a big understanding of the universe would use us as an experment and observe us on our path. OR they could be useing us to create a race better than them. A species that would evolve to somthing better than us by killing off the weak links. what about resources like metal and say trees? what about water contamination from all their potential pollution. All I'm saying is if aliens were here they would have to be desperate for something. The nearest planet old enough to support advanced life while also being in the "habitable Zone" (distance from star were it is not to cold or hot for life) of their solar system is 130 light years away. This means if they are so incredibly intelligent that they can travel at light speed our planet is still 130 years away. based on most likeliness, it is most likely our alien friends are not THAT intelligent and it would take even longer to get here. And so it is more likely coming to earth would be desperate measures. what do you do when your desperate and you find something you can take advantage of? They could be hostile. But i belive that if they wanted to kill us they allready would have. There have been thousands of alien sightings, they are observing us till we are ready. I can't remember the exact date but this is a story from World War II In Los Angles the military set up A-air defenses in fear of Japenese attack. At night they started shooting at somthing, a unidentifyed flying aircraft. It is unknown if we hit the thing or not.
