Everyone has different emotions at different times. Pessimism is human nature because everybody is a bit pessimistic sometimes depending on their mood, though they may not always show it. Optimism of course is exactly the same,if someone has a good day they may be looking to the future more openly and optimistically. Of course some people are more optimistic/pessimistic than others. This is because of how they were raised. For example: Animals in the world are often taught how to hunt and kill animals. They cannot help this because it is how they were raised, if a human is shown any signs of emotion (good emotion or bad) then that will 'rub off' onto them. This means that if a person is shown happiness, they are likely to become happier and more optimistic. If the opposite occurs then they are likely to be more pessimistic as a character. Side: Yes but so is optimism
