Communism doest do this. It is important to know that capitalism and communism are economic systems since they deal with the ownership of the means of production, whereas socialism is about one's ideology with respect to the role of government as a regulative agent and provider of common goods and services. I believe in strong capitalism but am also a strong socialist (they are not mutually exclusive, most modern economies are heavily mixed having significant socialist elements even though most are capitalist economically). I believe that there needs to be a stratification of wealth and heavy investment in industry but also to have basic quality of life rights in order to maximize labor effectiveness and minimize the criminality of desperation. |
