I find the evidence compelling. https://listverse.com/2017/01/10/ And that wasn't even a hardcore scholarly source, yet through photos and rationale it is still completely persuasive. It's very easy to believe there was a holocaust, and it's almost as easy to believe there are Nazi sympathizers out there claiming the whole thing was made up. 1

Not as it is taught in schools, no. Especially not American schools. The basic premise that it happened is correct of course, but it has been both politicised and mythologised. For example, while it was ethnic cleansing, it was not an actual attempt to wipe out Jews as some believe. Hitler had tens of thousands of Jews and partial Jews fighting for him in the German army. What happened was deplorable, but no more or less deplorable than the countless other genocides which have happened, and many within our own lifetimes. 1

@Nomenclature Wtf is wrong with you? There were all kinds of internal contradictions in Nazi ideology to application however that in no way means that the Holocaust wasn't every bit as bad as is typically taught (it was). The fact that there have been many other genocides/ethnic cleansing of similar (or greater) magnitude does not imply that the Holocaust wasn't as abominable as mainstream depicts, but rather we should be giving similar attention/awareness to other deep crimes as well 0
