Of course we should treat people as equals. This means that companies shouldn't be engaged in "positive discrimination" hiring and promotion practices where they discriminate against males in favour of females.

Men are dicriminated against as they don’t get paid maternity like women except if one lives in a Scandinavian country where it’s the norm

That's actually changing. A fella in my office is on Paternity leave since his wife just finished maternity leave. It really does take a women 6 months to get back to normal and sadly we are only given 6 weeks before we have to go back so that really needs to be extended, but I'm all for fathers having paternity leave.

Equality of opportunity should be afforded to all of today's recognised many and varied genders.

However, no one should demand nor expect equality of outcome.

In any impartial contest the results will always be determined on the merit of the contestants in whatever area of competition they're engaged.

If I was a Christian I would HAVE to consider everyone is "Gods creation" and should be treated as such.

I'm not. I have to go on common sense and consider that a "person" that can do equal work should be an equal. There are an unlimited number OF levels, and a person in ANY level should be treated as equals in that level. Step forward Christians, Muslims, Jews and disagree with me. That will point out why I'm not into religion.

If you are talking about hiring practices between men and women, the best qualified person should be hired.

If you are talking about the Democrat's constant pandering to their new activist alphabet groups... LBGTQ.... whereby gender now includes so called Transgender people who deny their biological gender, then please spare us all.

We are sick of an extreme Democrat Party that after getting a majority in the House of Representatives during the mid term election, immediately pushed a new Bill that would force schools to allow Boys and men into women's sports!

They have been pushing to force all Public schools to allow boys who think they are girls into our daughter's bathrooms! ARROGANCE! BIG BROTHER ARROGANCE!

The Left has given itself over to extreme radical political correctness, and are arrogant elites believing they have the right to force their extreme policies on all Americans.

I am for gender equity, not equality. Treating everyone equal will lead to wastefulness of resources. For example giving insulin to everyone, thus treating everyone equally whether they have diabetes or not. The reverse is also true, giving nobody insult thus treating everyone equally.

Same with gender, we don't need everyone to get mammograms. Instead, we want gender equity.
