Yes, there should be equality among the sexes. BUT, equality is equality. So let's explore this Equal pay for equal work - Yes Same rights (voting, clubs, sports, etc.) - Yes Abortion rights? - Yes...what does that mean? The father can choose to say "no" to a pregnancy (just like a woman can today). If the woman says no, the father has no rights to stop her (it is her body after all, and I agree with this). But what about when the father says no, but the mother says yes? Who whould be responsible? In the all equal world, the equality laws would state that if the father says no early enough, then the mom to be is a single mom with no recourse for child support! If anything, boys should be given equal importance to girls. Girls are always favored in evacuations. In the titanic, the crew said "women and children first." Survivor to passenger ratio for men was low. Why should the women be allowed to live? The several children now lost their fathers. It was inevitable, but more men could've survived. Some of those women weren't even mothers! In the most shows, most males are portrayed as idiots or losers.
