I don't think so. I could ask best for who, but I'll argue from a best for your self standpoint. If you kill a person, the only thing you get from being honest to the investigator is a jail sentence. Which you probably don't want if you were even thinking about dishonesty. While honesty will get you a reduced sentence, sometimes lying will also. "Whatever do you mean Quocalimar" Here's what I mean. In the cases, rare but existent, where the person brought up on trial is innocent, there best bet to get the most reduced sentence is admitting to the crime that they did not do. Side: no its not
