They are both good in platform, but iOS is not that much friendly like Android, regardless of version they have. and for Android mobile like in Samsung they are easy thing to have, they can have custom phone cases the way you want, not as always with iPhone.
I prefer Android. Apple seems to limit the software it's devices can run to their own productions. A lack of Flash instantly kills it for me; it's a huge part of digital media. iTunes is also a big problem. I find it to be a slow and clunky program, and at one point all of my music was deleted. On top of that, Apple products are ridiculously expensive and far too poor of quality to justify it. I don't really care about brand names, but the stuff really just has to work, and I have had zero problems with my android phone thus far, while iTunes and the iPod touch made me suffer occasionally.
Never singled out iPhones, just Apple products I've seen in my own experience. I've simply had more trouble with Apple than I've ever had with Android. I did, however, own an iPod touch, and noticed how cheap the screen was, along with plenty of system crashes. I only dropped it maybe twice before the screen started popping out, while in comparison to my HTC phone, which my butterfingers have lost hold of a dozen times at least, which has zero damage. I've also seen iPads with lag issues just from dragging the screen before; completely new ones. But, in short, I have next to no experience with iPhones. Weren't they much, much more expensive that that at initial release, though? I seem to remember a new iPhone model costed around $600 at one time or another.
Plenty of people are happy with their toothbrushes, too. I know I am. Look, I don't give a shit about brands. If people like them they can buy them. I'm just saying I think Android is better, based on my own experiences. I do NOT care about Apple's business policy, their products just don't work for me. I also see just as many HTC phones as iPhones, though that's likely just locally. Either way, not the point of my debate. And if this is going to become some sort of fanboy argument, let me know now so I can avoid it, please.
"This makes adults smarter than teens ;) " You just saying this proves there are some exceptions. You know, this may be because adults have had more time on this earth to learn things, and are somewhat more experienced than teens. And ;)? Now you're making yourself sound proud of this. Ever occur to you that 1. You used to be a teen, and probably thought the opposite of what you have said, and 2. All the current teens of this world will soon be adults? No, of course not.
Yes, i myself am a teen! i wasn't going against you, i was going against the guy who was dissing us! i know this is a debating thing, but you're right 'Tim'
This poor lonely guy, having to resort to insult teenagers, who are in fact cleverer than him..! ahahahhahahahaha! Mr.Hater, i think you've lost this debate!
First of all Apple products are not almost domination the market revenue. In total, on computers, Microsoft Windows is sold at a rate of almost 50:1 compared to Mac OS. Second of all, in the mobile area, iphone sales have been dropping like Disney's stock slide.
No I'm pretty sure I'm talking about "Crash Droids" every android Ive owned freezed or crashed more then 3 times a day. And i barely had any apps on them.
I prefer Android, simply because I like the open-source nature of it. I also like it more because you can get a much greater variety of devices that use it. Your only option for ios 5 is an expensive iPhone. The Samsung Galaxy SIII and HTC One X are both superior in terms of hardware and have, in my opinion, better software- they are also competitive price wise. Alternatively, you can go for the Galaxy Ace, HTC Desire, any number of Sony devices... and many more.
Well, lets not forget the iphone's famous White Screen of Death. And not the kind you just press the reset button to fix, the hardware kind. I only owned my iphone for ONE year and I got the white screen of death. It couldn't be fixed either because it was a hardware failure. Apple just said I needed to buy a new one. Well, guess what, I didn't. Android, which doesn't have white screens of death, is far superior to iOS in every possible conceivable way. I mean come on, idon't support flash, idon't support Open Source Software; whatever idon't DROID DOES. :)
Dude yr lame, you all use the same thing about ios not being open source cause that's all you can think if. And you don't know yr facts, the iPhone 4 and 4s actually do support flash.
Better that what you used. This is basically all your arguments: "Your an Android fanboy" "Your an Android fanboy" "Your an Android fanboy". At least I had a valid points. And I like how you didn't even mention the famous Apple White Screen of Death. I got you now ;) .
Nah bro you didn't get me. me or any of my friends have even heard of this white screen of death thing you speak of so it must not be a big deal. also nobody i know with an iphone has had this wsd crap
Oh, come on man. Stop making this so hard for me ;) . All right, here; I'll give you some proof.
The White Screen of Death is when the device fails to boot and hangs on just a blank, white screen indefinitely without booting. It could be either one of two possible things.
1. It could be a software failure. This could be fixed easily by simply holding the Home and Power button for like a minute thirty (hard reset).
2. It could be a hardware failure. This is permanent and cannot be fixed by holding the Home and Power button. This is what happened to me. I didn't have a warranty, so I just threw it away and got an Android.
