The diseases that circumcision is supposed to protect against are very rare (penile cancer) or easily treated by other means (urinary tract infections). In theory of course, ANY disease of a part of the body can be prevented by cutting off that part. This is the only one where we actually do it. Side: No
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and it is only people who are unfamiliar with whole genitalia who think they are ugly. The great Renaissance artists carved and painted many, many, men, heroes and gods with foreskins when they could have hidden them if they'd wanted. Side: No

Circumcision is a surgical procedure with real harm and risks, up to and including death. Adverse outcomes often go underreported, because circumcision is supposed to make the penis "maintenance free". They include skin bridges, too much skin removed, excessive scarring, skin tags, suture holes, uneven cutting, and partial or total severing of the glans. The inevitable harm includes loss of sensation. Side: No
It's only necessary in the rare case of there being a foreskin problem that can't be treated any other way. It is definitely not necessary for babies or the vast majority of men who never experience a foreskin problem. With a high risk of serious complications, it also causes more problems than it creates.
