Weather or not the word is socialy logical has nothing to do with my right to say it.

I'm saying I have every right to call my friend "nigga", but I don't because I think it sounds stupid.

I agree with what you said over there, but I have freedom of speech.

yes if a black man can call there friend nigga then a white man can as well or it is racist

Side: yes

If said friend wants to be called this, or has no problem with it, its just a word, shouldn't be a big deal.

It is racist to believe that a white man using said term is racist, as it is racist to think that an asian rapping is racist, I have heard both

No !!! and thats just common sense. why would you use a racist slur to approach a friend when there are so many other names to adress him/her by. ( homie, bro, dude..ect,)

I suppose if you think about it, we call each other, other derogatory names as well. For instance when many of my mates call they say "hi bitch".. And i take no offence....................so maybe the words themselves arent derogatory, but rather the tone /way it is applied. AND...go talk homie talk to homies....try calling them bro....And then apologise with "sorry dude" what a rather silly thing to do.....:)

These days any race using racial slang, even with friends, doesn't mean they're racist. It just means they're stupid. Even though I don't agree with the usage of the word nigga, I do think that only black people should be able to use it with one another. Only wiggas use it otherwise..

Seriously, what is "wiggas"?(Ive never heard of it) I assume it is a word meaning something....please enlighten me ....is this another word designed to "catagorize" white people.

When is it ever OK to remind someone of the dark history of oppression their ancestors went through? It is not.

I have to say "no" here because of the wording of the question.

In principle, I am all for using words wherever: I believe a word should only have such meaning attached to it as its definition, and in the case of reclaimed words (like nigga), the meaning comes from the intention.

However, society in general doesn't think so. Because you ask if it's ok, I have to say no.

Also, you say when "used to represent a friend". Even if this person is your friend, depending on who you're talking to, if you say "he's my nigga", and the person you're talking to isn't aware of the depth/closeness of your relationship, it may be misinterpreted.
