We've been through this before. Meat is not essential to health. We can get protein from so much more and meat is unnecessary. But I'm still going to eat it because I like it.

The unnecessary downvoting must stop. I'm upvoting this because it doesn't deserve a downvote. This is ludicrous.

Hunting is good man. Consider deer hunting. Deer just run onto the road willy-nilly. Without hunters, there would be many more accidents. And what would we do without bacon, cheeseburgers, or steak? They are AWESOME.

OR we could reintroduce apex predators to kill the deer, like...... the wolf. Wolves were killed off of the east coast a looooong time ago (like 150 years ago) and now deer have no natural predator. Bring back the wolves to kill the deer! :)

Seriously? Your argument basically said that it is the deers fault that it gets hit by a vehicle. Hunters aren't a reliable or major way to prevent accidents involving deer. The best form is to reintroduce natural predators (wolves, pumas) like MKIced said. Natural predators maintain an equalization that allows the ecosystem to function efficiently.
